The core requirement is straightforward: look impressive, stay cost-effective, and deliver in volume. Standard non-woven gift bags check all three boxes — the key is choosing the right fabric weight and printing method combination.

Fabric Weight and Perceived Quality

For gift bags, 90 gsm or above is the recommended minimum. At this weight, the bag feels substantial, stands upright on its own, and holds its shape when carried. 80 gsm is acceptable but offers slightly less structure. 60 gsm is the lowest-cost option but tends to look and feel cheap — not appropriate for mid-to-premium gifting scenarios.

Accessory Options

Handles: die-cut same-fabric cord loops, PP ribbon handles, or webbing handles are all viable. Ribbon (satin) handles add a premium gift feel at roughly 0.3–0.5 RMB per piece extra. Lining: an interior non-woven liner or divider can be added to protect multiple items in a gift set from shifting or scratching against each other.
